It is important that we receive supplementary information without undue delay. If we don’t receive any supplementary information within four weeks from the day we receive the previously made data breach notification, decisions may be made on existing information.

Supplementary information regarding a cross-border data breach notification

The Swedish version should be used if the data breach has occurred in Sweden and not affected individuals in other countries.

The cross-border version should be used if the data breach has occurred in Sweden but also affected data subjects in other countries. The cross-border version should also be used if the data breach has occurred in at least one other country than Sweden.
